La sélection génétique est continuelle pour créer de nouvelles races plus rentables. Elle implique des inséminations artificielles des reines, réduit la diversité génétique des abeilles, et provoque leur affaiblissement. Ces abeilles sont plus sensibles aux maladies, parasites, champignons qui provoquent leur mort. Des pratiques comme l’enfumage et le “clippage » induisent des souffrances.
Quel est le problème avec le miel, la cire, la propolis, la gelée royale… ?
