Pour Jean-Marc Gancille, les écologistes refusant de se donner comme objectif l’abolition de l’élevage font preuve en brandissant le triptyque « paysan, local, respectueux des animaux » font preuve de cynisme (ces solutions scientifiquement erronées sont porteuses politiquement) et de spécisme (trahissant les idéaux d’égalité dont ils devraient être porteurs).
